Fry Club Juniors Presentation Evening 2006

The annual celebration of skill, commitment, dedication, teamwork and effort took part at Fry Club & Conference Centre on Thursday 1st June.

Congratulations to all the many 'winners' and to all who contributed to another year of good behaviour and achievement. Good behaviour and respectful conduct being recognised by Fry Club Juniors as valued in addition to being a basic requirement of membership.

Special thanks goes to our Special Guest Steve Tanner who gave up his time to present the awards. Steve is the youngest Football League referee and the highest ranked in the South and South West of England. Currently in his 3rd Season as a Referee after having spent four as an assistant referee.

Recently officiated at the Swansea V Barnsley play off at the Millennium Stadium and a certain Crystal Palace v Watford match!

He has been awarded his "Three Lions" which is the highest honour you can receive in this country.

In July he will be refereeing in his first UEFA tournament when he will represent England in the Nordic Cup in the Faroe Islands.
