Bradley
Stoke Utd away. We had a few
turns getting there, but in the end we all arrived.
There was no Ethan or Sam B.
Game
1 - The line up was:
Joby
James
Callum
Josef
Jim Max
Joe
C
Rolling
Subs: Mark & Josh
We
made a good start, attacking well. Joe
had a shot on goal but the ball went to the ‘keeper.
Then there was a great pass by Max through to Joe, but they got back
and it was cleared. Bradley Stoke
attacked, but Joby and James combined very well to stop them.
They then had a long shot, which was well saved by Joby.
Then there was a melee in the Bradley Stoke area and Joe
got final touch 0-1.
They came straight back at us though and shot inches wide.
Joby was then caught out of his goal by a quick attack and cross, but
Mark managed to clear the ball off of the line.
They then had a corner, well cleared by Josh!
Bradley Stoke kept up the pressure and attacked again and finally
scored 1-1.
Jim went off on a great run down the wing before crossing in, but no
one had kept up with him. James
tackled well and forced his way through three players before passing to Max
down the line. His shot was
blocked though. They then
attacked straight back and we struggled to get back leaving Joby exposed 2-1.
Jim went on another run and cross, but Joe was just unable to reach it.
We
started the second half in very determined fashion with some great battling by
Max & Josef. Josh then went
on a great run down the right wing, but his shot was wide.
Bradley Stoke then broke through our defence, but we saw a good save by
Joby. They attacked again, and
this time it was Max back to clear the ball.
Their pressure eventually told however, and a low shot came flying
through the crowd leaving Joby unsighted 3-1.
Callum played a great ball to Max but they defended well.
Then both Callum & Max ran at them passing the ball but couldn’t
get the final shot away. Callum
was then back at our end keeping them out.
At the end Bradley Stoke hit a fierce shot which Joby tried to save,
the ball bounced loose and Mark cleared.

2 - The line up was:
Jamie
G
Oscar
Tom
Dan
Sam
K
Rolling
Subs: Jack Y & Luke A
Early
on there was some tough battling by both teams as Tom tackled well to emerge
with the ball. Dan then went on a
run up the line, past two defenders and crossed it in, but neither Spike nor
Bradley
Stoke had another strong attack but Jamie made another great save.
Jack and Spike were then involved in some great defending.
They shot again, but Jamie saved well onto the post and out.
Tom was then back defending as it was backs to the wall time.
Tom threw to Luke, who ran at goal and just missed with a good shot.
Then we saw an attack by Sam K and Luke, but they got numbers back.
There was then a huge kick by Jamie, Sam k chased it, but the ‘keeper
just got to it first. Into the
final minute, they finally got past both Oscar and Jack, the ball was crossed
to the back post where a Bradley Stoke player buried into the top of the net 1-0.
From the kick, Sam K attacked through two defenders, but he shot high
into the side netting.

Not
the big defeat that prior results against them had pointed to.
They had lost two players to
