Managers statement:

I believe that all players must be treated fairly and equally both on and off the pitch, regardless of ability, whilst in their formative stages. My policy as manager has been to give all players an equal chance along those guidelines during our friendly games, with each player having the same time off of the pitch as everyone else. Now that we have finally joined a competitive league as U10's, my policy has changed. We will no longer rotate the team, but will go with the intention of winning. I feel that the boys understand the difference between playing for fun and playing to win, and after four years of equal opportunities, they are aware that a change must occur if we are to progress as a team to the level that we feel we should be at. I want my team and my Club to be successful, and there must come a time when sentimentality no longer has a place in selection. For me, that time is now.
